Writing regularly and receiving feedback is the way most writers become great! How often will a child in a class of 20 or more students receive detailed, substantive feedback on their writing? Not often! But at The Writing Studio, we are committed to providing feedback continuously - until students show progress! They always do!
The Writing Studio is the place where student are given time and space to learn how to write. They receive guidance from teaching professionals who have dedicated themselves to education and language arts!
Students become better readers as they read more! The Writing Studio assigns high interest reading assignments to students weekly, in order to encourage them to get their "extra" reading in on a weekly basis. This is guaranteed to improve their ability to both read fluently and with flawless comprehension.
Students who write well and read well are unstoppable in any academic setting: Elementary School, Middle School, High School, and College!

All students are different! While it is easy to assign students to reading levels and math course work, writing is more complicated. The best writers still have gaps in their writing. At The Writing Studio we are determined to help student fill in the gaps and make significant progress in writing, no matter what types of weaknesses they have developed over the years.
